Join us for a night of empowerment against sexual and relationship violence at UC Berkeley! Come to Savio Steps at 5pm on April 19th for a night of performances, speakers, open mic, and a community resource fair. The event will also feature a candlelight vigil honoring victims and survivors of sexual and relationship violence.
Take Back the Night (TBTN) is a student-run evening of empowerment aimed at raising awareness and shattering the silence surrounding sexual violence, domestic violence, and rape affecting all genders and sexual orientations.
TBTN is a safe and brave space of healing and support.
TBTN is a movement to break the silence surrounding violence through art-- visual art, singing, dancing, acting, poetry, spoken word, and speech.
We'll be giving out free food and t-shirts. Don't miss this powerful annual event!
*We welcome all allies and survivors to this event. In breaking the silence around violence for folks belonging to marginalized identities, we especially invite queer people, people of color, and qtpoc to share this space.
