Castro Family of Community Leaders Endowment

The Castro Family of Community Leaders Endowment serves as a lasting tribute to the power of community leadership and reflects the enduring vision of Dr. Joseph I. Castro, who believed in the instrumental role of education to transform lives, as it did for him, and to promote a just and peaceful society. It is a commitment to cultivating leadership that is inclusive, forward-thinking, and impactful for generations to come.

Cesar E. Chavez Fund

Conceptualized to honor Cesar E. Chavez and Dolores Huerta — leaders who dedicated their lives to labor, immigrant, and environmental issues — your support of this fund will go towards recognizing and honoring student leaders who are serving their community.

Chicanx Latinx Student Development Office (CLSD)

Support the retention and graduation of undergraduate and graduate students. Your support will help engage students to become scholars, leaders, and professionals and create a sense of belonging and community engagement across the entire campus.

Latinx Student Resource Center (LSRC)

The LSRC is foundational to creating a sense of comunidad for Latinx students at UC Berkeley. This new space will significantly expand programming and capacity so that more students have access to retention programs, academic support services, wellness opportunities, and leadership programs.

Magdalena Mora Legacy Fund

Program creates opportunities for students to build community and explore history, politics, culture, identity, and other issues impacting the Chicanx/Latinx communities.

Reynaldo Santiago Sanchez Emergency Fund

Your contribution will go towards supporting Cal students who are facing financial crises today, and ensure that they have the resources they need to complete a world-class education at Cal.
