About the Chicanx Latinx Graduation Celebration

The Chicanx Latinx Student Development Office and the Chicanx Latinx Studies Program co-host UC Berkeley’s Chicanx Latinx Graduation Celebration. This event celebrates graduating students – undergraduate and graduate – from all colleges and schools across the university.

To participate in this ceremony, students must register by Wednesday, April 16 at 5 p.m. or when capacity has been reached-whichever comes first.

Registration deadline: Wednesday, April 16 at 5:00 PM or when capacity has been reached — whichever comes first.
If you experience issues with registering, please take a screengrab of your issue and email us at clsd@berkeley.edu with the subject line “Registration Issue - Last Name, First Name.” In the email, please include any screen grabs you have, your Berkeley email address, and your student ID number. Our team will get back to you as soon as possible.

 Meetings

During class meetings, students will receive updates, provide feedback, and ask questions in person. Attending class meetings is not required but is highly encouraged.
  • Class meeting #1: Wednesday, February 19th | 6:30 pm | Latinx Student Resource Center
  • Class meeting #2: Tuesday, March 18th | 6:00 pm | Latinx Student Resource Center
  • Class meeting #3: Student Speaker Tryouts Wednesday, April 16th | 6:30 pm | on-campus - location TBA
    • Students trying out must sign ahead of time AND be present during this meeting.
