Invitation to Collaborate

The Multicultural Community Center is excited to collaborate with individuals and groups through multicultural and cross-cultural programming. Due to campus guidelines related to Covid-19, we’ve adapted the process of our collaboration to include virtual events! We hope to share our zoom best practices with collaborators and to co-create virtual spaces of belonging. 

 

The Multicultural Community Center is excited to collaborate with individuals and groups through multicultural and cross-cultural programming. We are eager to share our zoom best practices with collaborators and to co-create virtual spaces of belonging. Our hope is to develop and foster long-term, sustainable and reciprocal relationships with individuals, organizations, and departments across campus and the greater Bay Area communities. 

Collaborating in Virtual Times

Collaborating with the MCC during these times will include the following:

  • Your event appears on the MCC Events Calendar.

  • Your event will be promoted across our MCC social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and our MCC Newsletter.

  • We can provide a Zoom account for hosting virtual events and support with navigating Zoom. 

  • We can offer our best practices for creating a welcoming virtual space.

Collaboration Process

  1. Complete a "Vitural Collaboration Form"
  2. Meet with Programming Committee to virtually check-in about your collaboration request 
  3. Receive an email from the Program Committee about the status of your request
  4. Hold your virtual event!
  5. Complete an Evaluation Sheet
