The Kūlia Project is a scholarship database dedicated to connecting Pacific Islander high school and undergraduate students with educational funding opportunities. We recognize the unique challenges and rich cultural heritage of students from across Oceania. Our mission is to bridge the gap between Pacific Islander students and the financial resources they need to pursue higher education. We compile scholarships from various sources, including government programs, private foundations, and community organizations that specifically support Pacific Islander students, Native Hawaiian students or have a focus on promoting diversity in education.
The Kūlia Project was created in Fall 2024 by Jada Lee, a Pacific Islander Initiative intern. E Kūlia means "to strive" in ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi (the Hawaiian language).
