GenEq is a campus community center where students, faculty, staff, and alums connect to programs, services, and resources related to gender and sexuality. We seek to create a more inclusive campus through community-building, education, support, and advocacy around issues of gender and sexuality through an intersectional lens.

Women* and LGBTQ+ individuals. GenEq also supports Sexual Violence Prevention and Hate Crimes Reporting on campus.

Intro to the Gender Equity Resource Center
This short video (4:46) gives an overview of the Gender Equity Resource Center (GenEq). Featuring student interns and staff members, we hope you learn more about our community space in 202 César Chávez Student Center. QTBIPOC Life at Cal Panel
The Gender Equity Resource Center at UC Berkeley is hosting a virtual panel for prospective students to join in community with current undergraduate and graduate Queer and Trans Black students, Indigenous students, and Students of Color to hear about their journeys, experiences, and communities at Cal. The panel is moderated by a health service counselor at the University Health Services Center (Tang)
