Educational Resources

Educational Resources

These educational resources may be used as a tool to better understand and support the transgender people in your life, or provided to loved ones to help them understand you as a trans person. Education on transgender topics is key in being an ally and making trans people feel safe. It’s also important to be mindful of how much mental and emotional labor goes into personally explaining what it means to be transgender and what its like to move through the world as a trans individual. Using pre-existing educational resources is a great way to avoid putting that responsibility onto trans people.
