Queer Cal Pals is a program offered by the Gender Equity Resource Center to connect incoming queer students to their communities on campus. Both freshmen and transfer students are encouraged to apply! Incoming students are referred to as Pals and are matched with a Buddy -- a current student that is involved in QT spaces and trained on-campus resources -- with the goal of becoming a successful supported Berkeley student. Being a Pal is a semester-long commitment and requires attendance** at our various events described in the application. Pals will have the opportunity to become Buddies after the Fall semester.
QCP programming will be in person and does not require any fees to participate. QCP and GenEq are committed to making all programming accessible, so please inform us of any needs or conflicts you anticipate. Our privacy protocols are designed to protect you if you don’t want your involvement to be publicized so please review QCP's Privacy Controls and Digital Confidentiality Statement before applying to the program @ tinyurl.com/QCP2021PrivacyStatement
